Expert Dog Training Services for Improved Behavior

Growing up, I always had a dog by my side and naturally found myself teaching and training them along the way. It wasn’t until I began therapy dog training with my Cavalier, Daisy, that training became truly special to me. Working with her pushed me to really develop my skills, and somewhere between the successes and the challenges, I realized just how much I loved learning and growing together.

I believe training is about creating a better understanding between dogs and the companions who are a part of their lives. Dogs have to make sense of a world designed for humans. I feel part of my job is helping them understand what we are asking of them while also learning to understand what they are communicating to us. For me, training goes beyond teaching cues. It is about giving dogs the skills and confidence they need to navigate everyday life alongside their companions.

Wanting to deepen my knowledge and become a better trainer led me to the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior, where I graduated from the Dog Trainer Course. I am also an AKC Evaluator and a trainer with Caring K9s.

At the heart of my work is a passion for problem-solving, helping dogs and their companions work toward new goals, and celebrating the progress they make together!
